2011 MLB Draft

Once again, both current and former Yankees showed up throughout the 2011 MLB Draft.  Jed Bradley  and Daniel Norris became the 23rd and 24th former or current Yankee to be drafted in the First or Second round of the draft.

Also, in a great show of class and recognition, the Texas Rangers chose injured University of Georgia outfielder and former Yankee Johnathon Taylor in the 33rd round.  Congratulations Johnathon for the honor, and our hats off to the Rangers for their class act.

Here’s a complete list:

Jed Bradley  (1st round- Milwaukee)

Daniel Norris (2nd round-Toronto)

Adam Morgan (3rd round- Philadelphia)

Matt Skole (5th round-Washington)

Jake Burnette (7th round-Pittsburgh)

Tyler Gibson (15th round-Detroit)

Johnathon Taylor (33rd round- Texas)

Marc Frazier (47th round- San Francisco)

Brandon Leibrandt ( 48th round – Tampa Bay)

Congratulations to each of these players !!
